Throughout the summer months each resort and village in the French Alps has a series of events on its programme each week. These events can range from the famous Tour de France, Mondial du VTT in Les Deux Alpes and the MTB passportes du Soleil in Les Gets to more gentle activties such as workshops, concerts, fetes and specific kids days out. Annecy (7th – 12th June 2010)

International Festival of Animated Films

Every year since 1960 at the beginning of June Annecy is the meeting-place for the world of Animated Films Presentation and showing of films in competition in various theatres in the town, homages, retrospectives, exhibitions
Giant-screen showings every evening on the Paquier. Entry free.

Projections from 10.30 a.m. to 11 p.m. in 8 sites spread around the town, and late night open-air shows on a giant screen by the lakeside.
